О семинаре:

 “Talk, talk, talk!”

Most children love talking so, in the EFL classroom, it’s just a question of getting them to do it in the right language! Through practical examples and hands-on activities we’ll look at how we can help young learners to improve both their pronunciation and their speaking skills to enable them to communicate more efficiently. The aims of this workshop are two-fold: How to identify problem sounds and implant some child-friendly strategies to remedy them in a fun and dynamic way, then how to effectively incorporate controlled speaking activities into our Young Leaner lessons, in pairs, in small groups and as a whole class. Our various plans of attack aim to satisfy different teaching and learning styles, while considering to best motivate pupils according to their particular needs and abilities.

“Humour Us… please!”

A look at the productive use of humour in the young learner classroom. A communal smile can improve student motivation, pupil-teacher relations and cater for affective needs, as well as offering many valuable linguistic benefits. A look at these will be backed up with some ready to use practical ideas drawn from Kid’s Box2nd Edition and the Cambridge Primary Box series.
