Приглашаем вас принять участие в Третьей международной конференции More than ESP, посвященной преподаванию английского для специальных целей.
Конференция пройдет с 16 по 18 октября 2019 г. в помещении Университета ИТМО по адресу: Санкт-Петербург, ул. Ломоносова, д. 9.
В работе примут участие целый ряд российских и зарубежных специалистов в области преподавания ESP, и в том числе:
- Юлия Скугарова* — ассистент МГУ им. М. В. Ломоносова, глава представительства Cambridge University Press ELT в России;
- Эржебет Чиби (Erzsébet Csibi)** — специалист по работе с высшими учебными заведениями в представительстве компании Pearson в Центральной и Восточной Европе.

E-learning, digital literacy, information technology, mobile devices, digital learning — these are words which have received extensive publicity in recent years. But what is beyond the hype?
This presentation will discuss the recent findings in Pearson’s Global Learner Survey, aspects of digital learning based on learning science and different trends and practices of higher education institutions all around the world.

What is critical thinking? Do we need it at all? How do we use it in life? Is it possible to teach critical thinking skills? How do higher education teaching and learning materials deal with critical thinking skills?
We will try to find answers for these questions, look at examples from real life and real textbooks, and reflect on how these skills can help us and our students to develop.
