Jeremy Day

Jeremy Day, ESP specialist (Cambridge University Press), will be giving a seminar in St. Petersburg

on October, 28 2011 (Fri)

at Mayakovsky Library.

The seminar will run from 16:00 to 18:00.

Seminar topics:

  • Needs Analysis in ESP (for university teachers)

“What you need to know: some practical advice, drawing on the experiences of teaching professionals who don’t know what they need or want from an English course” (J. Day)

  • My Top Ten Grammar Structures

“I’ve always been fascinated by the quirky side of English grammar: not just how things work, but why they work in the way they do. In this presentation, I hope to show how a little enthusiasm and interest can go a long way in the teaching and learning of grammar”. (J. Day)

Joint event by Cambridge University Press and SPELTA.
