Kate McLoughlin has worked in the educational field in a variety of roles for over 22 years. After leaving London over 15 years ago, armed with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, she moved to New York City, where she began writing songs and poetry for young children and working with teachers in elementary schools worldwide. She is currently involved in the development of workshops on incorporating multimedia into the elementary classroom, and the role of the teacher in the 21st Century classroom.
